I used to plot but it ended up sounding like non-fiction. I’m an intuitive and panspermia fits me because it’s innate (see the Myers-Briggs typology).

That's interesting, how come it sounded like non-fiction? I guess it depends on the genre!

I used to be a historian and plotted out my stories. That default mode left no space for readers imagination. Instead of Why I ask What if? Which serves the same purpose as why.

Is there an in between because I feel like I am both? I plan out scenes but then as I write I surprise myself. Let's say I plot my stories but I never stick to the script 😅

I totally think there is! I'll always have a bit of pantser in me--I think it keeps things creative! I'm totally the same. Either way, it's almost boring to plot out every single scene. I love when my book surprises me! Thanks for your comment Victoria! :)

I'd like to plot, but I don't know the story until I start writing it. Once I have a bunch of scenes (and especially the beginning and ending), then I can shift chapters around and plan extra scenes that are missing.

I used to be the same, but writing is different for everyone! Just sharing my own experience. Although the "why" questions still remain even after a first draft. Kudos to you if you're able to figure it out on the way, I sure can't anymore haha. 😅
